Still can't find what you need? You may still be able to borrow it from one of our partner libraries via BONUS+ (for books) or ArticleReach (for articles) or request it from our Document Delivery service.
Our Subject guides contain a wealth of discipline-specific, curated content to help you to go further in your studies and research. Need to know what databases are best for nursing or how to download and use Endnote? Subject guides have the answer.
With your UOW student ID card, you can borrow and request items from the Library or login to your online record to check when your items are due, renew them or simply view any outstanding fines.
READING, STUDY AND GROUP SPACES
Spaces are available for reading, quiet study and group work. Wollongong Library has 400+ computers across all three floors and most desks are powered so bring your own device and keep it charged.
Located on the ground floor, the Panizzi Room is our premium, bookable location for that special event. With its state-of-the-art multimedia technologies, controllable lighting and track-mounted art hanging system, the Panizzi Room is sure to make an impression for your next big exhibition or event.
GET A HEAD START
StartSmart introduces you to the fundamental study skills you need to start your journey at UOW. Learn how to find great information for your assignments, understand how you can avoid plagiarism and develop better study habits to keep you on track.
StartSmart, together with the complementary CareerSmart program, is compulsory for all commencing students and best completed during the first three weeks of session.
GET CONNECTED ONLINE
Free, campus-wide wireless access is available for all UOW staff and students. Connect to wireless.
Visiting from another university? Eduroam is available across UOW and 500+ locations worldwide. Connect to Eduroam.
PRINTING, COPYING AND SCANNING
Use your UOW student ID card to print, copy or scan documents from Library computers.
Just tap the screen and swipe your ID card on any printer in the Library and create a 4-digit PIN. You can add credit to your card using any of our electronic cashiers or EFTPOS terminal.
Printing from your own device? Try our web-based service, WebPrint.
All students can receive research help via our drop-in consultation service or visit the Learning Co-Op for peer-assisted study skills advice and technology assistance. Look for the red and green shirts when you enter the Wollongong Library.
Postgraduate students, honours students and academic staff can book a research consultation to meet with a librarian in person.
