Established in 1975, the Library started as a small, regional, one campus entity, providing access to fewer than 100,000 books and 1,000 journal titles. Today the Library has expanded its range of resources and services to match the growth of the University. Located throughout NSW and the world, libraries and access centres support over 20,000 students and staff. The University's goals of excellence in learning, teaching and research are underpinned by access to half a million books, over 51,000 journal titles, 200,000 journal volumes, 300 databases (online collections of journal articles) and 7,000 e-books, with many resources available regardless of location, 24x7. We are continually updating the collection - last year we added on average 1,500 new items per month to the collection.
