Company Records and News Film

Overview

The WIN4 Collection (D75) comprises company records and news film reels from the studios of WIN4 Television Wollongong Transmissions (T.W.T.) Ltd., Fort Drummond, Wollongong (now called WIN Corporation Pty Ltd).

Both the television production side (WIN) and the administrative/financial aspects (T.W.T.) of the company are reflected in the collection. The records highlight the company's corporate affairs and include material pertaining to its management structure, shareholders, financial arrangements, and correspondence.

Access to the collection

Access to the company records and news film transcripts (i.e. paper based records) is available on request. The material will need to be retrieved from off site storage so access should be requested well in advance.

Access to the film reels is restricted. Researchers should contact the Archivist to discuss available options. The Archives is not usually able to provide access to members of the public.
