Studying outside Australia?

Who can use this service?

  • Students formally enrolled in a course offered through distance education by the University of Wollongong can use off-campus Library services.
  • Students living in metropolitan areas with access to a local university library are encouraged to use the reciprocal borrowing arrangements available to them.
  • Students enrolled at other University of Wollongong locations (Batemans Bay Education Centre, Bega Education Centre, Loftus Education Centre, Moss Vale Education Centre or Shoalhaven Campus) should use their local University of Wollongong Library service, including Intercampus Document Delivery.

Important points:

  • If you live in the local 02 42 telephone code area, you will be expected to use the Wollongong Campus Library in person for the borrowing and return of materials.
  • If you live outside a metropolitan area, or do not have access to a local university library collection, Library materials will be mailed to you but you will be responsible for the return postage.
  • You may be able to borrow from other libraries through the University Library Australia (ULA) borrowing scheme.

Borrowing conditions and renewals

  • Borrowing conditions are determined by your user category.
  • Borrowed items may be renewed, provided that they have not been requested by other borrowers.
    • Items must renewed on or before the due date.
