Submit requests

For books held at the Wollongong Campus Library, search the Classic Catalogue and select the HOLD button.

Note: Off-campus, and GSM clinical academics and Phase 2 and 3 students are required to identify this status in the Additional Information section of the form. All off-campus requests should identify a current mailing address in Additional Information.

Who is eligible?

Students enrolled in a course or subject offered through distance education, flexible delivery, or modular mode by the University of Wollongong.
PhD and Masters students living outside the local (02 42) telephone area code.
GSM Phase 2 Session 2, Phase 3 students and GSM Clinical Academics living outside the local (02 42) telephone area code.

What can I request?

Materials located at the Wollongong Campus Library, including: Books, Journal articles, and Audiovisual material.
Academic staff and postgraduate students are also eligible to request a loan or copy of published material that is held by other Libraries, including: books, book chapters, conference papers, journal articles, published reports, audiovisual material.

How will I receive my request?

Clients living in the 02 42 telephone area code:
Please pick up and return items in person from the Wollongong Campus Library.
Clients living outside of the 02 42 telephone area code are eligible for direct home delivery:
There is no charge for postage to your nominated address, but this service does not include return postage. Please post your items to:

Borrowing/renewals

Borrowing conditions are determined by your user category.
Borrowed items may be renewed, provided that they have not been requested by other borrowers.
- Items must renewed on or before the due date.
- You can renew items yourself using the View your borrowing record function on the Library Catalogue, or by contacting Client Services on (02) 4221 3545.
