Autumn Session, 2010
Hi there,
The Library is now buzzing with activity as the Autumn Session commences. Don’t forget if you are trying to print in a hurry, use the Print Only laptops on the Ground Floor behind Stair East or near the Group Study rooms.
  
Level 2 now has even more Quiet Talking group study areas to use! Look out for more improvements coming soon to Level 2 in the News box on the Library’s homepage.
Quick access computers on the Eastern side of the Ground Floor have now been replaced with laptops; this means that you can now print using these computers!

Group Study rooms 1 & 2 are now equipped with laptops and digital projectors so you can practice presentations with the same technology you will use in class.

All Group Study rooms can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. The rooms are popular so plan your meetings in advance.
Library > Quick Links > Book a room. Choose Study Room 1 or 2.

The Library’s database web pages have been changed to improve navigation, access and searching options. It is now possible to search for and access:
> databases by name (click the starting letter tab, for example click ‘P’ for Proquest Central),
> journal title (through the A - Z list), or
> by faculty and subject using the Resources for Assignments pages.

Returning students will find the security certificate has changed and may need updating in your wireless settings. If your laptop has trouble connecting, go to any service point for instructions for updating the certificate.

Guided tours are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays at both 12.35pm and 2.35pm. Don’t forget if you prefer to do it yourself, download or borrow the Start Smart Audio tour.
