Autumn Session, 2010
Hi there
Looking forward to the mid-session break? Easter hours for the Library are below, plus don’t forget to explore the Leisure Reading Collection, or See the World collection if you are planning a mid-year trip. In the meantime, get the most out of the Library using the hints below.

Completing a group project?

You are in the minority if you aren’t! To make things easier we have plenty of space for you and your group to get together. Book a Group Study room online up to 2 weeks in advance or find a group study table on Level 2. Most tables now have access to power.

Don’t forget GS1 and GS2 now have projectors so that you can practice your presentations.

Easter hours

The Main Library will be closed Friday 2 April – Sunday 4 April. The Main Library will be open Monday 5 April 10.00am – 5.00pm. Normal hours apply on all other days.

Check the website for other UOW Libraries and other dates.

Finding a computer

Are you having trouble finding a computer in the Main Library? If Library computers are extremely busy, try the ITS Computer Labs in Building 17 – use the Link on Level 1. You can also borrow laptops for 3 hours from the Short Loans desk.

Quick print
If you just want to print off an assignment or lecture notes, use the Quick Print laptops on the Ground Floor, near the entrance and near the Group Study rooms. These laptops are for printing only, if you are waiting behind a student who isn’t printing, please let staff know at the Information Desk.
