Do you knit? We need you! The Library is collecting knitted or crocheted woollen squares for the annual Wrap with Love appeal. Drop off your squares inside the Main Library entrance until July 31st. Find out how it works and how to knit your squares. |
Donated squares will be sewn into blankets by Library staff and distributed through the Wrap with Love network to non-denominational, non-political aid agencies all over the world who give them to the most in need.
Last year the Library was able to donate 9 completed wraps, made with 270 knitted squares. This year will be bigger and better than ever! |

| The Main Library is open Monday 14 June between 10.00am – 5.00pm, due to the public holiday. See website for other times and locations. | |
You have the chance to trial the database Historical Abstracts. This database covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 forward, including world history, military history, women’s history, history of education, and much more.
Trial runs to mid July. We use your feedback when making database subscription decisions. Provide feedback using the Tell Us box on the Library’s homepage.
