27 July - Spring 2010
Welcome back!
We hope you had a relaxing break and are ready for another full-on session at UOW. Remember, the Library is here to help you through Spring.

Don’t wait until the next day to find out the book you have on hold has come in! While Library notice emails are sent overnight, RSS feeds can be received in real time. If on campus you could come in and pick up your item straightaway.

To subscribe, log into your Library record and click My Record Feeds. Paste the URL into your RSS reader.

Did you leave your readings to the last minute in Autumn session? Trying to read hundreds of pages of articles before your exams isn’t much fun, neither is it a good way to study!

Turn over a new leaf, download all your e-readings this week, either to your laptop or print them out. Each time you’re stuck on public transport or are waiting for a friend, you will have them on hand to read.

How to find my readings
Or: Go to the Search page > Subject code tab > enter your subject code
Standards are a feature of almost every industry or sector. From personal financial planning to the construction of railways or the design of water safety signs, there is a standard that has to be met. The full text of all Australian standards is available via the SAI Global database and the standards website includes links to other organisations in this area.
Remember, don’t struggle – ask us for help!
