Your computer may be offered to someone else if you are not using it for study purposes or if you leave it unattended for more than 10 minutes during peak times (10.00am to 4.00pm, Mon-Fri). If this is done, where possible, we will save a copy of your open documents to a removable media, and pack your belongings. Belongings can be collected from the Lending Desk on the ground floor.

Save your work early and often
It is YOUR responsibility to save your work: files are automatically deleted from the computer when you log off, and it is not possible to recover them after this time.
Bring a removable disk or device on which to save your work; e.g. USB memory sticks/thumb drives. Copy your document to the desktop from your disk and work with this copy; when finished, do a final save to the desktop, then copy that file back onto your memory drive.
