Journals (Print and Electronic)

Journals are published at regular intervals under the same title and intended to appear indefinitely. Each issue generally contains a number of articles relating to a specific subject area. Journals can be scholarly in nature (i.e. academic journals) or a product of the popular press (i.e. magazines). Academic journals are a good source of current scholarly information because they are often the place where research is first commercially published. Some research or information in journals is never published in books.
