| Navigating | Each e-book can be navigated using the table of contents displayed on the left side. Content can also be searched for specific terms and the advanced search option allows the user to narrow the search options. |
| Printing | Safari only permits printing of one page at a time. |
| Saving | Safari does not have a save or download function. |
| Emailing | The Safari emailing function sends a link to the viewed page not the full text of the page. |
| Copying | Text may be highlighted and copied using the browser function. |
| Notes and bookmarks | Users may use the notes and bookmarks functions, however these are open to all users within the University, with all notes recorded. |
| Referencing and citing | Printouts from Safari include only some citation data. Ensure you note the relevant details for citing this book on your printout. |
