Registration & session timesEndNote workbooks include illustrations and step-by-step instructions targeted for the new user. The EndNote online tutorial
(provided by EndNote.com) does not include editing a reference style. Filters and download instructionsDatabase records can be imported into an EndNote library. Some databases use direct exporting of records, others require a filter. The appropriate filter must be used to direct the data into the correct fields. Use the filter and download instructions guide. Reference stylesOutput styles control the appearance of the in-text citation and bibliography. EndNote has many styles including APA, MLA and Author-Date. A style usually requires editing. Refer to the workbook or attend a class. Note: Author-Date is the closest to the Harvard style used at UOW. A UOW Harvard style will be available soon. SoftwareEndNote software can be borrowed from the Library's Short Loans Collection to load onto your home computer. EndNote is generally installed on University computers. Help
