Community access to journal articles and news

This page provides links to publicly available journal articles and news items. Some links will provide access to the whole article (fulltext) while others only provide a summary (abstract).

Your public library can help you with locating journal articles and newspapers that are abstracted. The Wollongong City Library, the State Library of New South Wales and the National Library of Australia also provide access to some journals and newspapers.

Check the Library Catalogue for articles with an abstract to determine if the Library holds that journal in print. Use the link 'Title' and type the journal or newspaper title.

Extended services are available to Alumni Library members.

BEI British Education Index		Contains over 300 UK education and training journals which supports educational research. It includes aspects of educational policy and administration, evaluation and assessment, technology and special educational needs.
Directory of Open Access Journals		Quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals.
DELTAA Database on English Language Teaching for Adults in Australasia		Covers the teaching and learning of English as a second language and related fields such as literacy and applied linguistics.
EdNA Education Network of Australia		Web based resources useful for teaching and learning including curriculum materials and teaching aids.
EdResearch Online		Online subset of Australian Education Index (AEI). Contents include journal articles, research reports, government reports, theses, conference proceedings and papers. Recommended browser: IE
Education-line		Educational research, policy and practice including conference papers, working papers and electronic literature.
ERIC		Free online version on the ERIC database. Contains/ documents and journal articles on education research and practice.
