Knowledge sharing made easy through Digital Theses

A UOW student researching a particular author was able to share her thesis with specialists in the same area. The student was a member of an international, specialist email discussion list where fellow members were keen to see her research. By providing her colleagues with the URL for her thesis she was able to provide them with access to her thesis from remote locations.

Digital Theses helps student gain research position

A UNSW digital thesis was found on the Web and browsed by an international company in Japan. The company contacted the author of the thesis and further research was conducted. The student then gained a research position with that company.
