What is the CRC?
- Role: to provide teaching resource materials for the students of the Faculty of Education.
- The Collection:
- Early childhood through to Year 12 Higher School Certificate material covering most subjects.
- Primary and Secondary school syllabi and support material.
- Various formats of material including books, posters, kits, maps, DVDs, CDs, audio and video cassettes, computer software, games and toys.
- Children's literature.

Accessing the CRC Collection
The Curriculum Resources Centre collection is integrated into the University Library Catalogue.
The location field will indicate if the item is located in the Curriculum Resources Centre.
To limit the Library Catalogue, search for items in the CRC, from the search results screen, click on the Modify Search or Limit/Sort Search box then use the location drop down box to select CRC.
Items will have one of the following prefixes: CR, CRE, CRJF, or CRR.

Borrowing CRC items
Refer to borrowing conditions of the University Library.

Returning CRC items
Items borrowed from the CRC should be returned to the CRC, not to the University Library.
A returns chute is located outside the main entrance of the CRC, and an 'out of hours' returns chute is located outside the northwestern entrance.

The CRC Short Loans Collection
Short Loan items include:
- Reference material
- Department of Education and Training policy documents
- CRC material identified by lecturers as required reading for a specific course
Generally, these materials (excluding Staff Copies) are available for 2-hour loan.
Overnight loans are available on some Short Loan items. In these cases, material may be borrowed in the final 2 hours of opening and must be returned by 9am the following day. Items borrowed on Friday are due Monday morning.
